Eligibility Criteria

Engineering Graduates from recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks (all years put together) or equivalent grades. For SC/ST candidates minimum marks are 45%. Graduates from part time, distance learning and correspondence courses are not eligible. Final year students can apply subject to their fulfilling the eligibility latest by 30th September 2012.

Note: It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they posses the requisite qualifications for admission. Having been admitted provisionally does not mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility for admission will be decided by SIU.

Documents required at the time of admission:

The following documents are required to be produced at the time of admission:

• Certificate of passing the qualifying examination and mark list of all semesters/years or certificate from the college/ institution of having appeared in the qualifying examination whose result has not been declared till the date of admission
• Requisite caste certificate if admission is against reservation seats.
• Gap certificate if there is gap of one or more year between passing of qualifying examination and admission.
• Certificate for change of name if applicable.
• Character certificate or transfer certificate.
