| Students Guidelines |
Attendance:
Being a Residential B-School students are expected to have 100% attendance. However, students are given 25% allowance in attendance to meet their personal needs, sickness, family functions, emergencies of any kind, Institute work, project work etc. Hence Minimum 75%.of attendance is mandatory in academics and non academics separately to appear for the final Semester Exams.
Evaluation Pattern:
Internal Evaluation:
The student's performance is continuously assessed & monitored through a series of internal evaluation methods like Quizzes, case presentations, projects, assignments, term papers etc. The overall class room behavior & participation, Leadership qualities, initiatives etc. are also assessed and marks are given. In addition, the Semester projects, community Project, Field assignments & professional Viva are also given due weightage. The subject faculty may also decide to give surprise tests for the subject.
External Evaluation:
The End term Exam will be conducted by university is to test the theoretical and application orientation of the subject.

In order to pass in any subject the student has to score a minimum of 50% marks in each head of passing i.e. the internal and external evaluation will be separate head of passing. Symbiosis International University will calculate the CGPA and declare the results.
Discipline and Code of Conduct:
The attitude and behavior of every student must demonstrate his/her commitment to the SIOM vision, mission and the processes of the institute. Every student is expected to adhere to the processes at the institute. Students’ manual containing a detailed outline of code of conduct will be given to each student. Any violation may lead to his/her termination from studentship or debarring from exams. Similarly damaging institute property may attract heavy fines or replacement of the same.

SIOM MBA (Operations Management) program is a 100% residential program. Hence all students stay on campus. Mess will be vegetarian. However eggs are provided for breakfast once a week. Smoking, drinking, and drugs are strictly prohibited. Vehicles are not allowed in the campus. Campus gates will be closed at 10.00 pm. Only one night out is allowed per month after completion of formalities.
Any damage to hostel property, misconduct in hostels, sexual harassment, ragging, intoxication found inside the campus will lead to strict disciplinary action or termination. The detailed Hostel guidelines will be given in the student’s manual.
